Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 Pictures LEAKED – Expected Specs & Features

 

Social media has been vague about the Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 since its images surfaced. In the pictures, the oncoming vehicle can be seen parked in a shipping yard abroad. In the first picture, you can see the front of the car, while in the second picture, the SUV is being moved, and their rear is being traced.

Expected engine:

The big news, which is not yet official, is the death of the V8 power. Toyota LC will currently have 4.6LV8 and 5.7LV8 petrol engines. Relax in peace

The replacement engine will be similar to a naturally aspiring 3.5L V6 hybrid [possibly 8GR-FXS] flagship, the Lexus LS 500h hybrid sedan. Another viable option for the engine could be the 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 [V35A-FTS], similar to the regular non-hybrid model LS500. In the LS500h sedan, the power is 354hp, while the TT V6 makes about 416hp. Expect around the same number under Land Cruiser.

The car will also be available in diesel format in some markets. The new engine will be 3.3L V6. Meanwhile, the hybrid will be an ECVT while the Turbo variant will come with a 10-speed automatic, and variants of both engines will be available with 4-wheel power.

Exterior: 

Only the exterior is shown in the pictures, which shows that the flagship SUV has a straight front with a wide and rectangular front grille. In addition, it has rectangular headlights and vent-like trim sections around the lower edges of the main grinder. The bold double-edged bonnet is also visible with a shallow Pillar link and trapezoidal wheel arches.

Meanwhile, you can see that the side view mirrors are mounted on the doors instead of the windows, which increases the air efficiency of the car. At the rear, taillights and straight, one-piece flat tailgate wrapped around a high-mounted. According to reports, the size of the wheel will start from 17 inches and will go up to 20 inches alloy rims.

Expected Interior: 

Along with the engine, there are strong rumors that the interior of the vehicle will also be replaced. The car will reportedly have a 12- to 13-inch entertainment system with satellite navigation, a 7-inch digital display in the Stromaster cluster, as well as a leather-trimmed surface, and metal switchgear.

Safety Features: 

According to S's sources, the SUV will have a full set of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, lane cap assistant, lane centering assist, automatic high beam, and traffic sign recognition.

Int’l Launch and Arrival in Pakistan: 

Rumor has it that Toyota will launch it in the global market next month. Meanwhile, we will have to wait for one and a half to two years for its local launch. This means that the car will not be in the local market before the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.
